Vertical farmers need to consider heat dissipation and spectral penetration. Led bar will be the best choice, led bar design is good for heat dissipation. With Spider Farmer, SE3000, SE5000, SE7000 is the best choice. Can hang close to the plants without burning.

For Vegetables and flowers, our SF300, SF600, SF1000 are cost-effective led grow lights.

2, Know the size of your growing room.

A good rule-of-thumb for LED grow lights is 32W of actual wattage per square foot of growing space for flowering medical or other large flowering plants. Vegetative growth for high-light plants needs about half this wattage.)

Growing Size Wattage Spider  LED
4 sq ft (2×2)=70x70cm ~120 SF1000 100W LED
8 sq ft (2×4)=70x140cm ~260 SF2000 200W LED
9 sq ft (3×3)=90x90cm ~300 SE3000 300W LED
16 sq ft (4×4)=120x120cm ~500 SF4000 450W LEDSE5000 480W LED

SE7000 650W LED

25 sq ft (5×5)=150x150cm ~800 SF7000 650W LEDSE7000 730W LED
3, Consider the Spectrum and Par

Full spectrum led grow light can satisfy all growth cycles of plants, but also need to consider IR & UV.

Photosynthetically Active Radiation or PAR is the light that is beneficial to plants. It is the alternative to sunlight that plants use so they can photosynthesize. LED grow lights can have different PAR values depending on the manufacturer. With that said, a higher PAR value does not necessarily mean the bulb is better. The PAR should be evenly distributed among the plants.

All Spider Farmer Led Grow Light is full spectrum designs with IR. The new upgraded version improves the spectrum ratio, high effectiveness, ness, and better PPFD distribution.

4, Cooling System

The LED grow light can overheat, especially if you use it for at least 12 hours a day for sufficient light for the plants. As mentioned, excessive heat can be harmful to your plants and the unit itself. So, your LED grow lights should have an efficient cooling system. That’s why more growers replace the HPS/HID/MH

With Spider Farmer: SF series with aluminum thick board design, SE series with led bar design. All good for heat dissipation. ( We suggest growers use a cooling system when the LED light works over 8 hours a day)

Except for these main factors, also pay attention to the safety certificate, quality, and warranty service.

Welcome to share your ideas when choosing an LED Grow light.
