I bought this SF1000 grow light together with a 140×70 grow tent as my first products from Spider Farmer. The plan was to start with one light and test the quality and design of Spider Farmer products. It took less than a week and I ordered a second SF1000 to complete my beginners setup. Doesn´t that already tell a story? The lights come with quality Samsung LEDs and I was really impressed by the performance of this product, compared to the KPIs of other industry leading manufacturers. Two of them perfectly fit the 140×70 grow tent and I already achieved some solid outcomes with these products! Looking forward to controlling them with the new GGS controller.

I bought 4 pieces.
3 are connected with each other the other is single.
I’m using them in our living room where I’ve got around 50 plants (no pot though 😉
I was hoping I could hang them from the ceiling in certain angle so we don’t get blinded by the really bright light. I had to improvise but managed to set it up well and filigrane (instead of the black rope set).
The instruction manual is simple and clear. So the set up of the three connected ones worked just fine.
I also exchanged the power cables into white, 5m european ones and even that was an easy task thanks to the modular setup of the lamps.
If Spider Farmer would change the default colors of the visible cables into white ones and innovate the angle setup I’m sure more plant lovers would buy this product 🙂
All in all very satisfied!
The only thing that was odd is that one of the lamps got “warmer” light then the other three. The Lumen is the same though as well as the specification of the product.

Soweit bin ich begeistert, wird allerdings erst die Zeit zeigen, was die Pflanzen zur Lampe sagen. Bisher fühlen sie sich sehr wohl. Tadellos verarbeitet, macht richtig Licht. Durch die integrierte Dimmung und der Einstellung der Höhe lassen sich gut die PPFD und DLI Werte einrichten.
2. Lampe habe ich zusätzlich direkt beim Hersteller bestellt, ist aber noch nicht im Einsatz. Danke Spider Farmer für das mega Preisleistungsverhältnis

About the IR diodes, it’s good for flower, and yes, it looks dim than others with naked eyes.
For the dimmer knob, just do not turn to the OFF, then the light will not be turned off.
Then the button is for dimming daisy chain function.

Vanuit spiderfarmer eu wordt je bestelling binnen enkele dagen geleverd hooguit een week als het weekend er tussen zit. Zoek ook even op couponcode op het web extra korting is altijd fijn. Ik heb al een sf 4000 maar nog niet gebruikt. Ik heb de sf1000 aangeschaft om mijn plantjes voor te groeien om buiten verder te gaan. De lamp ziet er degelijk uit. Als je informatie op vraagt wordt er snel gereageerd.

Great piece of equipment. The most positive aspect of this light is the dimmer function which make things a lot easier than otherwise.
The only thing that could be improved upon is that the length of the cable between the driver and the panel could’ve been longer, allowing for separating the driver from the panel for even better control.

Fast delivery and the light was just as high quality as expected, and extremely bright!
One small negative: even when turned off (but still plugged in) the light makes a slight humming sound, making me wonder if it’s still drawing power. But, I guess you can just turn it off using the switch on an extension cord if it bothers you.

I already have my 2nd Sf-1000 by now, it’s amazing for growing all types of plants. I started with plants and a single Sf-1000 already showed great results. After that, I switched to hydroponic vegetables and had to dim down the light to a max of 50% due to its high light intensity, and even with only half of the power my plants are thriving. The Sf-1000 is a perfect light for beginners and experts and if I ever have to recommend a grow LED light, it would be the Sf-1000 for sure.
